ALICE MCCOY DELOACH

deloachALICE MCCOY DELOACH was born September 9, 1940 in Cocoa, Florida to loving parents, Green and Colleen McCoy. She was the second eldest of fourteen siblings. Alice was raised and received her formal education in Florida. While in her early twenties, Alice moved to San Diego, California, where she pursued a career in nursing. She was employed as a Registered Nurse with UCSD Medical Center for over twenty years. She loved and enjoyed caring for others. She was a credit to her profession. Alice was a loving and devoted mother of four beautiful children: Ray, Valerie, Veronica and Ronald. Alice, who had a great love for children, adopted five other children whom she loved as her very own; Lee, Maya, Juniyah, Michael and Jason. Alice was known for her energetic personality and her unconditional loving spirit towards others. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and watching daytime soap operas. Alice was also a very fashionable dresser. She always looked amazing and stunning from head-to-toe; and oh how she loved to shop! On 2005, Alice was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at the age of seventy-six. Alice will be greatly remembered for her warm and loving nature by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory her four children: Ray (Lot) Deloach, Valerie Deloach Slay, Veronica Deloach and Ronald (Yolanda) Deloach; her adopted children; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held, at Friday, September 30, 2016 at Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary, Memory. Final Arrangements were entrusted to Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary.
