This past weekend was a great one for Bishop’s High Women’s Basketball team. On Saturday night during the Lady Knight’s 72-47 win against Ramona High in the MLK Hoopfest, star guard Destiny Littleton broke the California all-time career scoring record. Littleton broke the record on a jump shot in the 3rd quarter, and was congratulated by coaches, teammates, and the person she surpassed for the record, former SD High school star, Chardè Houston. Littleton now holds the mark at 3,838 career points.

A couple of days later, at the MLK Shootout, the Lady Knights defeated Bonita Vista 83-54. In that game fellow senior Alessandra Aguirre scored 37 points, including eight 3-pointers and broke the San Diego Section for all-time career 3-pointers. The Knight’s are now 18-1 on the season.
