M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records has carved another niche for itself by signing Reggie Codrington to their new jazz division on Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This company remains focused and dedicated to the production and development of Christian music and artists. The labels’ visionaries have embraced this new venture as the logical “next step” for continued growth and promotion of award-winning entertainers in both genres of music.

M.A.N.D.A.T.E. Records’ new flagship jazz artist has a musical legacy established by years of hard work to become a rock-solid entertainer. Codrington is known all over the world as a polished performer with a diverse list of invitations from performance at the Presidential Inaugural Ball in the District of Columbia to booking international performances for jazz, gospel and Christian rock concerts in villages in Guatemala. But his success did not come easily. He has made a living performing for many years in the music industry despite being diagnosed as a child with Ataxic Cerebral Palsy (ACP), a chronic condition that affects muscle coordination and depth perception. But the gift of a curved soprano sax on his 18th birthday marked a transformation for this artist and allowed him to play the saxophone in a comfortable manner.
This veterans’ resume contains a distinctive and diverse body of work and his latest album, Always in Motion, embodies the riveting sounds of jazz and contemporary funk as only he can. Other offerings from this prolific artist include eight CD’s, Journey Back Home, Sunny Days, Christmas with Pops, Expressions, Vision of Dreams, Enchanting, and Vicarious Experience.
