Obiits 3-24-160004On November 30, 1936 the earth and his parents, Isaiah (Shack) and Orene Preston- Jackson was Blessed with their 7th child MacArthur Jackson, a.k.a. Mack Jackson – born in Fairfield, TX. MacArthur was called home on March 5th, 2016 at his home in San Diego, California surrounded by his family. During his younger years, MacArthur attended the school for the death and hard of hearing in Tulsa, OK as well as earning a certificate at The Hot Springs Rehabilitation Center in Hot Springs National Park, Arkansas in 1966. Not long after that he moved to San Diego, CA with his sisters Mary Lynn Crowley and Ann Rebecca Weaver; where he worked part time in the Liquor store and full time at sheltered work shop, where he met and then later on married the love of his life Joy Baby Hawkins, which was in 1969, at the end of that year, they had their daughter Jenoni, born in December. They were married for 46 great years. Mack Jackson was a loyal and faithful member of Lighthouse Baptist Church for over 15 years where he served in their Deaf and Usher Ministries until April 2015. MacArthur leaves behind to remember him, his wife Joy B. Jackson, their daughter, Jenoni (JJ/Lil Mack) Jackson; three step daughters: Diane Lofton, Denise Palmer, and Dorette Williams. His grandchildren Isaiah M. Jackson Sr., Aaron J. Watson; Nathelia J. Lofton, Fred R. Bailey, Lonnie Bailey, Candace Allen; Nathaniel E. Palmer, Natasha L. Williams, Myia Hubbard, and Kayla Palmer. His great-grandchildren: Isaiah M. Jackson Jr., Robin G. Jackson, Jaidyn A.C. Watson; Rayna Souce, Javon Bailey, Jailen Bailey, LeiLani L. Bailey; Cornell Rogers III, Elijah Edward; Demetrius, Demarius, and Darius Allen; four brothers, Audrey Lee, Clarence Wayne, Jeffery Dwight of Texas and Reginald Craig of Indiana, five sisters, Ginger Crowley of Oklahoma, Linda Flanders of Texas, Paulette Jackson, Michelle Phears of California, and Deborah Denise Michele of So. Carolina and a whole host of family and friends. Preceding him in death, waiting to welcome him with open arms are his parents Isaiah & Orene Preston-Jackson , four brothers: Hoover Isaiah, Billy Burt, Larry Kenneth and Errol Stanley Sr., six sisters: Lillian Celestine, Eunice, Mary Frances – Mary Lynn, Ann Rebecca, and Gurlie, along with several other family members.
