San Diego CA: City of San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer and students at Webster Elementary school located at 4801 Elm St. enjoyed a “Dream Big for Ice Cream” assembly hosted by and in partnership with the Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association and the San Diego Unified School District. Abdul Mohammad a.k.a. Dream Chaser #1 brought this program of the Dream Support Network by invitation of his friend Lance who is a member of the Earl B. Gililam Bar Association. For the past 2 1/2 years “The Dream Big For Ice Cream” program has been a success in the Tri-state area of New York, Connecticut and Massachusetts. Abdul Muhammed states, “The purpose of the event is to inspire young people to live out their dreams. We all know that big dreams start with small dreams. The sooner you have young people start thinking and believing in their dreams. The sooner they can achieve and feel good about themselves.”

Dennis W. Dawson, Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association Foundation President shared, “Whenever this an opportunity for young people to exchange ideas and become motivated our association wants to be part of it. Lance connected us with the “Dream Big” program and we look forward to hosting more programs likes this for the young people of San Diego.”

“Dream Big For Ice Cream” is a powerful community initiative in which anyone who is willing to share his or her dream will receive ice cream. This sweet motivational tool was created to support individuals and communities to dream more, dream bigger and actually make their dreams become a reality. Ice cream for a dream is an excellent way to reboot and re-energize an organization, school or program. More importantly ice cream for a dream is an opportunity to start a deeper conversation about how having dreams and pursuing dreams leads to a more satisfying life.”
