Wonda G. Herriott-Travis

Wonda G. Herriott-Travis was born April 26, 1962 in Georgetown, SC. She was the 3rd child born to the union of Walter and Albertine Herriott. Wonda accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior as a young child and united with Bayview Baptist Church in San Diego, CA. She received her formal education through the San Diego School District. In 1980, she graduated from Lincoln High School. After completing high school, she continued her education at Mira-Costa College and graduated as a Certified Medical Assistant. Wonda worked in the medical field for over twenty years, as a Claims Analysis. On September 3, 1983, she met and married Michael Travis. She was a very loving and devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Wonda enjoyed cooking, dancing and living life to the fullest. Preceding her in death were her beloved father, Walter Herriott Sr. and sister, Tonya Herriott. Wonda’s memories will always be cherished by her children: Michael Travis II, Tamika Herriott and Andre Travis (Marisa); Her dear mother, Albertine Herriott; Grandchildren; Latell Love and Major Williams; Siblings: Diane Singleton – Myers, Sharon Herriott-Forest (David), Walter Herriott II, and Angela Herriott; Special Friends: James Petway, Sharon Jones and Marilyn Nostrand, along with a host of nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
