On the 20th of July, the Third Annual Big Summer Bash took place once again at Lemon Grove’s popular Berry Park.
The event was held under the direction of the Cherished Moments organization. Collaborating partners PHATCAMP, Grind 2 Gather, Giving Hands, the Harvey Foundation, Forever Kevins, Epiphany, and the Partners Outreach Organizations were some of last Saturday’s participants and organizers at the big time Summer Bash.
As usual, the families were able to experience an array of innovative vendors, games, free food, a live DJ, Inflatable-jumpers and the always popular raffle-for-prizes drawings.
“We come out here once a year, every summer, to bring the community together for some fun,” Cherished Moments CEO, Sherrell Kinsler said. “And this event is really geared towards the kids, as we joined forces this year with multiple organizations that share similar or the same community goals.”
There was plenty of hot fun in the summertime for the kids and grown folks, as they were able to see old friends and make some new ones, thanks to the collaborative efforts of Cherished Moments Organization and friends.
