Daniel Ekonde, California Local News Fellow
Daniel Ekonde graduated with a journalism master’s degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Before joining Voice & Viewpoint as a California Local News Fellow, he spent five months as a reporting intern for Berkeleyside, covering business, housing, city hall and science. Daniel has reported for The Oaklandside, Mission Local and The North Bay Bohemian. Internationally, he has covered issues for Al Jazeera, CNN, ESPN, Africa is Country and The Continent, and worked as a TV sports journalist for the Cameroon Radio Television (CRTV).
