This past Saturday, the 2026 F.A.N.C.Y. Teen Girls Expo gathered young girls from across San Diego together at KIPP Adelante Preparatory Academy for an inspiring day focused on empowerment, leadership, and connection. Through engaging activities and educational opportunities, participants explored career and academic interests while building confidence and leadership skills. Presented by DETOUR Empowers as part of the F.A.N.C.Y. (Focused And Naturally Confident Youth) program, the event continued its mission of motivating girls to pursue academic excellence, discover their passions through education and the arts, and develop the tools needed to become impactful leaders in their communities.
