Cherish Moments Breast Cancer Organization brought energy and purpose to Lincoln High School in Southeast San Diego on March 21, 2026, as women and young girls took the field for their 3rd annual flag football game. The event blended sisterhood, strength, and awareness, creating a space where survivors, supporters, and the next generation came together for more than just a game.

Laughter and competition filled the field, but the message was clear. This was about fighting for life and raising awareness in a community that continues to be impacted by breast cancer. The atmosphere stayed lively throughout the day with performances by the Royal Pushh dance team, while DJ Coolstyle kept the energy high on the ones and twos, spinning the latest hits that had players on the field and friends and family in the stands moving and grooving.

Sherell Kinsler captured that spirit with a powerful message: “Take my boobs I don’t care but my life don’t you dare!”

The day stood as a reminder that awareness must turn into action, and that support must reach beyond moments like this.

As the community reflects, the question becomes: How are we showing up to protect, support, and advocate for all women and girls, young and old, before their health becomes a crisis?
