Families gathered at Memorial Park on Ocean View Boulevard in San Diego on April 4th from noon to 3:00 p.m. for a day filled with fun, laughter, and community spirit during the 4th Annual Easter Egg Hunt hosted by Partners Outreach Organization.
Kids of all ages spread out across the park, searching for colorful eggs hidden in the grass. Along with the egg hunt, families enjoyed free food, games, jumpers, and raffles, creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for everyone who attended.
Jessie Wilson, Founder and President of Partners Outreach Organization, said the event was a success. “Our main goal is to serve the children of San Diego, and today I feel we did that,” Wilson shared. “We gave away over 3,000 eggs, a couple hundred dollars in cash, and most importantly, the kids had a great time.”
Wilson also expressed appreciation for the many groups that helped make the event possible. Special thanks were given to Divas 2 Die 4 SC, Official Game Changers SC, Rare Ladies SC, Tru to Tha Fact SC, Lady Violators, Certified Ladiez SC, Lady Knights SC, and Knock It Off SC for their support and contributions.
Events like this show how strong a community can be when people come together for a positive cause. For many families, it was more than just an egg hunt. It was a chance to connect, celebrate, and create lasting memories.
What other ways can local groups come together to support and uplift children in the community?
