Dear President Trump:
I write to inform you of my opposition to your unnecessary by-choice war with Iran. I request that you immediately declare total victory, end military operations, and withdraw US forces. This unnecessary war is unjustified and counterproductive to the immediate and long-term best interests of the American people and the economic well-being and security of our nation. The sooner you end the war, the sooner the increasing suffering and devastation it is inflicting on the Middle East and the rest of the world can be halted.
By signed copy of this letter to you I am asking my elected representatives to the federal government to advocate vigorously for the immediate end of the war and to oppose strongly all supplemental funding proposals to continue this ill-conceived war with Iran.
Please do the right thing for the American people and end the war immediately.
