The pay was written by Dea Hurston, playwright, and philanthropist, who received an Honorable Mention in the Script Tease of One Acts by The Scripteasers [Supporting San Diego Playwrights Development Since 1948] for her play “I Want to Marry Stevie Wonder”. And director Kandace Crystal, who also directed “Welcome to Sleepy Hollow: A Haunting Musical Thriller”, which showcased this year at Oceanside Theater Company: At the Brooks, debuted the Christmas musical, “1222 Oceanfront: A Black Family Christmas.” in 2021.
