The Block Club (TBC) is proud to announce one full year of service and its three-day fundraiser celebration from March 27–29, aiming to raise $10,000 to support operations, free programming and facility upgrades. The weekend will feature a silent auction hosted online, live music, and family-friendly activities, highlighting local art and culture.
EVENT SCHEDULE:
Friday, March 27 – Silent Auction Kickoff (6:30 PM – 9:00 PM)
In partnership with Park Takeover, the weekend launches with a cocktail social at The Block Club. Guests can enjoy music, light bites, and a first look at auction items, including local artworks from black and brown artists. Attire is cocktail. This 21+ event is free.

Saturday, March 28 – Live Music Lounge (4:30 PM – 7:30 PM)
The Block Club will transform into an intimate lounge featuring live music by select local musicians. This intimate gathering offers a refined setting for continued bidding on auction items. This 40+ event is by ticket purchase only.
Sunday, March 29 – Family-Friendly Gaming Celebration (2:00 PM – 6:00 PM)
The weekend concludes with a celebration of the city proclamation naming March 29, 2025 “The BlockClub SD Grand Opening Day.” Activities include board games, gaming stations, and family
entertainment. The silent auction closes at 4pm, with winners announced. There will also be a gallery featuring local children’s artworks, curated by Park Takeover nonprofit.

The Silent Auction
All bidding takes place online, featuring a curated selection of items such as original artworks, local experiences, and products from community businesses. The public can view and bid on items throughout the weekend.
Parking Information
Street parking is free on both sides (north & south) of Imperial Ave. Guests are encouraged to use ride-sharing services, bike parking, or MTS. No on-site parking is available.
