On Monday night, Simone Biles wowed judges and earned two sets of perfect scores on Dancing With the Stars, but she was still voted off of the show.

Last night’s episode had the last four competitors vying for a spot in the finals: Olympic gold medal winner Simone Biles, Fifth Harmony stunner Normani Kordei, NFL running back Rashad Jennings and two-time World Series champ David Ross. The first round of competition had each contestant working with one of the judges, while the second round featured an entirely new dance for each contestant.

Biles, who had struggled to get judges to connect emotionally with her performances, stunned judges as she was able to make that connection working with Carrie Ann Inaba.

Her first dance was a jive to “Faith” by Stevie Wonder, featuring Ariana Grande, and her second was a rumba to “Skyscraper” by Demi Lovato. The judges loved her performance, giving each dance a perfect score of 40 for a total of 80 points for the night.

However, in a surprise for most watching, Biles was ultimately voted off, and the three remaining competitors as well as their partners all encircled Biles for a hug as she said goodbye to the show.
