Mabel Bailey
November 26th, 1923 – July 29th, 2016
Today we pause in humility to the will of our Father in heaven, who has claimed one of His own Mabel Bailey on July 29, 2016. Mabel Bailey was born on November 26, 1923 in Brownfield, Texas to the late Henry and Jennie Wyatt. Preceded in her death, were her parents, her brothers, and one son Charles. Mabel had an unwavering Faith in God. She accepted Christ as her personal savior at a young age in Texas. Later in life she united with Macedonia Baptist Church and Church of God in Christ in San Diego, Ca. Over the years she was very involved in church. Mabel was educated in the Brownfield, Texas school system. She was relocated to San Diego, CA and worked for General Dynamics Convair from 1941 to 1965 and then retired. Mabel then began her life as a homemaker. She also volunteered her services to Euclid Elementary School. Our beloved love one Mabel enjoyed sewing, watching game shows, she loved QVC, and collecting antiques. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. She had a fun loving side and the Anchor of the family. Mabel was a loving Mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She leaves to cherish loving and fond memories to four sons Paul, Charles (deceased), Eddie, and Forrest, four daughters, Wenda, Pamela, Vera, and Marlene. A host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and friends who will mourn her passing but celebrate her life. Rest in Peace Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, you live in our hearts and minds forever and you will never be forgotten.
