Obits 3-3-160003Athowan Maurice Bullard affectionately known as “Bugg” was born October 26th, 1974. He was the oldest of seven children born to the union of Patrice Tone (who preceded him in death) and Billy Bullard. Athowan was born and raised in San Diego, California. Athowan attended Lincoln High School. Bugg was baptized in 1995 at Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the direction of Pastor Whitmill. Bugg loved God and had no problem praying. Athowan was a participant of St. Madeleine Sophie’s center (serving individuals with disabilities) his day program where he could work and earn a paycheck. On a daily basis he could go swimming, gardening, attend the computer lab or go to Sophie’s gallery where they created their own image of art. St. Madeline’s staff was truly amazing. Bugg enjoyed dancing, listening to music, bowling with his aunty Shelia and spending time with his family and friends. Bugg was a true gentleman who didn’t mind picking flowers and giving them to his sisters and loved ones. Bugg respected his aunts, looked up to his uncles, protected his nieces and nephews, loved Shavon and all his cousins. The Bible was never far from Buggs he knew there was a God that loved him. With great sadness and joy Bugg was set free from this world’s burden on February 12, 2016. His memory will continue to live in the heart and mind of all that knew and loved him. Left to cherish his memory, Bugg is survived by his sisters, Sherita Campbell Marilyn Foster; Uncles David Foster;  Bruce Foster and Jeffery Foster; Great Aunts Mary Jones, Viola Willis and Bennett Truman; Great uncle Lee Carey Francis and a whole host of loving relatives in and faithful friends. He was predeceased by his mother Patrice Tone; grandmother Willie Mae Foster; grandfather Marion Foster; uncle Michael Foster.
