Tihut recently served as Voice & Viewpoint's Assistant to the Editor and Staff Writer. She is a graduate of the University of California San Diego and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Ethnic Studies with a minor in African American Studies. In her capacity as Assistant to the Editor, Tihut researched and helped curate and edit content and contributing writer submissions for the weekly paper while also contributing articles on local events and feature stories and multimedia stories on the Black and African communities.
