Brothers of late actor Chadwick Boseman are ensuring his commitment to the arts and storytelling lives on with new business venture, Boseman LLC. Originally formed in the fall of 2025, the company aims to build projects across film, television, theatre, education, and live events while preserving the Boseman family’s legacy and values.
The Boseman Family LLC is meant to be more than a business,” said Derrick Boseman in a press release. “It is a legacy vehicle built to preserve our family’s vision, protect generational assets, develop leadership, and pass down wisdom, values, and opportunity to future generations.”
According to the press release, Derrick Boseman, brings more than 30 years of ministry, mentorship, and community leadership. His work has focused on youth development, violence prevention, family support, and civic engagement, and he currently serves on the board of Nashville Peacemakers. Kevin Boseman, a Brooklyn-based performing artist, has spent more than three decades working across dance, theatre, and storytelling.
Though their professional paths have differed, the brothers cite family as the foundation of any work they set out to do. Together, they envision Boseman Family LLC as a platform that blends creative excellence with service and cultural engagement.
