San Diego, CA: Chef Al, founder of the Sunday’s Best Brunch, hosted a hearty brunch at the Alpha Center located at 6323 Imperial Ave, San Diego, 92114 in Southeastern San Diego. Al offers an authentic southern menu to include fried & baked chicken, roasted tri-tip, fried tilapia and baked ham. Delicious side entrees include collard greens with smoked turkey, yams, corn, green beans, cornbread muffins, rolls, macaroni and cheese, home fries, mashed potatoes, garden salad. Of course brunch would not be complete without including grits, waffles, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs and assorted cut fruit. To top off brunch, banana pudding, peach cobbler and pound cake made from scratch are offered for dessert and can be washed down with Al’s homemade lemonade.

“I really like the waffles with lots of syrup & bacon. It’s my favorite breakfast! I am happy I got to watch OKC play the Clippers in their play-off game while having breakfast with my family too,” shares Don Juan Robinson. “I like the large variety of southern cooking they provide here at Sunday’s Best. It’s different compared to what is usually offered around Southeast. I enjoy being able to sit down in a nice restaurant atmosphere with friendly service and good food.
