Chris Anthony Sanders III, a resident of San Diego, left us too soon due to a lifelong medical condition. While working on October 15, 2016, Anthony’s struggle with asthma took him at the young age of 31. Chris Anthony Sanders III also known as “Anthony” to family and close friends, was born on June 16, 1985, at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, CA. Anthony was the first born son to Chris and Barbara Sanders. He attended church from a very early age and as he got older he was active in the children’s choir, plays and was baptized at age 8 at Grace Missionary Baptist Church. Anthony was an accomplished athlete dominating various sports. He graduated from Mt. Miguel high school achieving high honors in his academics. He was an ambitious supporter and provider to his family. He was blessed with a daughter, Sariyah Anesha Sanders, who made her debut on November 4th 2011, and was a father to Shaquilla Brinson’s two other children, Richard Jackson and Eniyah Knowles. Sariyah changed his life from the moment she was born as he became a devoted and dedicated father to all his children. Anthony raised his three children with girlfriend Shaquilla, he wanted to pass on good family moral values to them all. He spent quality time with his children doing activities including family nights, outings to the park where they chased Pokemon, the movies…just to name a few. He protected and loved his children and strived to be a dedicated father. He was a dedicated Charger fan and had a fond interest of history and sports. Regardless of life’s pitfalls, Anthony maintained his hope and faith and always found a way to make things better for himself and his family. He was a loving son, compassionate brother and his vibrant, strong personally, and smile captured the hearts of those who knew him. Anthony has gone home to meet his great-grandmother Jo Ella Owens; grandfathers, John Lacy and Chris Sanders Sr.; grandmother Juanita Lacy; uncle Joseph Lacy and aunt Vanessa Ross.
