On November 3, at 11:30 a.m the Associate Student Body organizations of San Diego College of Continuing Education hosted the annual Día de los Muertos Altar Creation and workshop with Teatro Izcalli members. The presentation featured a special presentation of “They Arrive with the Butterflies,” a new Muertos story by Macedonia Artega Jr. The Executive team and students gathered to learn about the meaning of the history of Dia De Los Muertos and even had an encounter with the story of death, which is, of course, a story of life.
