The first MOB The Business Bus Tour, organized by Women of Southeast, brought together community members, entrepreneurs, and supporters for a day dedicated to shopping, supporting, and circulating dollars within Black-owned businesses throughout San Diego.

From 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., participants traveled together, visited local businesses, met business owners, learned their stories, and invested directly into the community. The sold-out tour demonstrated the power of collective spending and what can happen when a community intentionally supports local entrepreneurs.

More than a bus tour, MOB The Business created opportunities for networking, collaboration, and economic empowerment while introducing participants to incredible businesses making an impact throughout the region.

Following the success of the inaugural tour, Women of Southeast announced that MOB The Business will become a signature annual initiative held three times each year:

  • ย February: Black History Month Edition
  • June: Juneteenth Edition
  • November: Holiday Edition

Each MOB The Business Tour will continue its mission of supporting Black-owned businesses, strengthening economic impact, creating partnerships, and encouraging collective spending throughout San Diego.
