On star-spangled Saturday, the Murphy family and their friends showed up to Eucalyptus County Park in Spring Valley to celebrate America’s 250th Day of Independence.

”This is our second year at this park,” Kevin Murphy shared. “We used to go to the beach but the beach was too crowded and the traffic problems proved to be too much of a hassle, so we decided to bring it here. I think this park is a good location.”

The celebration featured an absolute-complete BBQ feast fit for a 250 year anniversary special. Chicken, ribs, links, nachos and all the traditional side dishes and desserts that make a 4th of July BBQ Bash a great experience.

“This is an all-you-can-eat function.Shout out to my brother Johnathon for his BBQ grill-skills and all the cooks that made this day possible,” Kevin shared.

There was also a domino tournament with a trophy for the undisputed champ ,a slip-n-slide for the kids, a free raffle drawing and plenty of hi-fives, hugs, handshakes, laughs and music to go with all that good-and-plenty food.

“I like bringing family and friends together. Everybody’s welcome to come and kick it with us and have a good time. As you can see, that’s what’s happening here today,” Murphy shared.
