LAKE MURRAY – Vanessa Bobo, 29, was shot and killed in front of her 5 and 1 year old sons Wednesday morning. Chula Vista Police HAVE DETAINED the suspect identified as 32 year old Roderick Lamar Harris, the live in father of the 1 year old, at 12:20pm. He is being charged with the murder.
Neighbors called police after hearing gunshots stemming from an argument between the couple. Bobo’s 5 year old son witnessed the shooting and provided a subject description to police. Updates will be provided as more information is released.
