Lucy Mae Williams was born on March 5, 1943 to the late Square Williams and Carrie Charles in Gould, Arkansas. She gained her wings on July 23, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.
Lucy was educated in San Diego, California. She graduated from San Diego High School in 1962. She then went on to study at San Jose State University.
Throughout her life Lucy held an unwavering faith in God. She loved listening to music and would randomly break out in song. One of her all time favorites to sing was Thank You Lord. She also enjoyed frequenting thrift stores and playing penny slots at the casino. In addition to being a loving mother and sister, she was a loving grandmother, great grandmother, auntie, and NaNa.
Lucy joins those that preceded her in death; Jeremy Bell Williams (son), Carrie Williams (sister), Susie Williams (sister), Wallace Charles (brother), and her parents.
Lucy will be lovingly remembered by her children; Traci Moosbrugger, Wallace Charles, Jr., Stephani Williams (Paul), Jamie Hardy (Brodrick), and Henry Bell, her sisters; Margaret Moore of Illinois and Mary Macon of Arkansas, her 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
