VOICE & VIEWPOINT NEWSWIRE
IN THE BLACK NETWORK (ITBN), a leading free streaming service dedicated to showcasing Black voices and stories, has announced the addition of new FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television) channels. This expansion, driven by partnerships with Black Enterprise, African Diaspora Network TV, REVOLT Mixtape, HomesteadPlus, Shades of Black, World One TV, One Culture, and the National Newspaper Publishers Association (NNPA) along with BlackPressUSA News Service, further enriches ITBN’s library of multi-genre content from Black creators.
Viewers can now enjoy an even broader array of entertainment, from thrilling adventures and comedies to culturally significant content like faith-based storytelling and documentaries. With these new offerings, ITBN continues to celebrate and amplify Black voices, bringing the best of Black culture to a centralized, subscription-free platform.
The platform’s global reach is also growing, with a diverse selection of Nollywood films and other Black independent films from Africa, connecting viewers in over 25 countries. This expansion aligns with ITBN’s mission to provide a comprehensive home for Black culture, offering quality content accessible to all.
James DuBose, CEO and Founder of ITBN, emphasizes the network’s goal: “With these FAST channels and our platform, we aim to be the best part of Black culture in a centralized, subscription-free home.”
In celebration of National Black Business Month this August, ITBN’s expansion includes new original programming, such as the dating reality series Finding My Romeo, hosted by Hip Hop royalty Romeo Miller, and Food for Thought with DeVon Franklin. With the total number of FAST channels now at 93, ITBN continues to be a vibrant platform for Black culture.
ITBN is available on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, LG, and Samsung devices, and streams directly at www.intheblacknetwork.tv.
