The Skyline vs. Balboa youth football rivalry continued last weekend when Balboa sent their confident ten-and-under age-group Raiders to Shacklett Field at Morse High School to play the hosting Tigers.
Balboa’s Silver and Black Attack proved to be too much for the Mighty Tigers to handle in this season’s friendly but tough confrontation. The Raiders used their dynamic running game to light up the home team’s scoreboard for 40 points and used an aggressive defense to slow down the speedy Tigers, holding them to two touchdowns.
