Roberto Manuel McAllister

Roberto Manuel McAllister was born January 25, 1985 in San Diego, California. He was the second of three children born to loving parents, Pamella and Frank McAllister Jr. He received his formal education through the San Diego Unified School District. During his teen years, Roberto accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized. He read his bible daily; for he truly loved the Lord. Drawing, writing stories and rap music was Robert’s passion. He had a true gift of gab. He loved to talk and bring laughter to all. He enjoyed all sports, particularly boxing and football. His favorite team was none other than the Oakland Raiders. He also enjoyed watching suspense and horror movies. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family and friends. Roberto was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin and friend. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Ruby Hicks; uncle, Roberto Mc Allister and aunt, Helena McAllister. On Wednesday, August 31, 2016, Roberto Manuel McAllister was called from earthly labor to eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving parents, Pamella and Franklin McAllister Jr. of San Diego, CA; his brother, Franklin McAllister, III of San Diego, CA; his sister, Helena McAllister of Atlanta, GA; grandmother, Nena Faulkner of San Diego, CA; grandfather, Franklin McAllister Sr. (Leonida) of North Carolina; aunts, Pretretia Dunlap of San Diego, CA, Leonita McAllister of North Carolina, Jacqueline Sharp of Oakland, CA and Vivian Crowder of San Diego, CA; uncles, Terrance McAllister and Alexander McAllister both of San Diego, CA, Jason McAllister of Virginia, Lonnel Crowder (Doris), Donnel Crowder and Javen Crowder all of San Diego, CA; his long time, childhood friend through thick and thin, Jessica; extended family, Wayne and Nancy Wiley, Tim and Rhoda Long and Marvin Walters and a host of other relatives and many friends who will mourn his passing. Services were held Tuesday, September 6, 2016 Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary, Memorial Chapel.
