Rose Lee Jackson

Rose Lee Jackson was born on January 11, 1936 in McComb, Mississippi to Elizabeth White. Rose worked at Gingerbread as a preschool teacher for 7 years. In her free time Rose attended city college where she studied criminal justice and nursing. Rose loved to have open bible discussions, where she would teach others her love for the Lord. Rose was a sweet and honest woman and a mother figure to all. She welcomed everyone with open arms and a hot plate. On March 20, 2016, Rose was called home to be with the Lord. She is preceded in death by her mother, Elizabeth White; grandson, Dwayne; niece, Debbie; great grandson, Trevion; and great great grandson, Sincere. Rose leaves to cherish her memories, her husband Eugene Jackson; children, Mary Thompson (James), Charles Jackson (Diane), and Johnny Jackson; her sister, Gldes Copeland (GiGi); close friend, Lena Johnson; grandchildren, Rose (James), Barbara, Sonya, Jerome, Ferna, Shawn, Elizabeth, Eliot, Theresa, Lil Faye and Tracey; 46 great grandchildren and 43 great great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, cousins and friends who loved and adored her.
