cid_0-1-1Beloved Tensa Ocbamichael was born April 11, 1990 in the Sudan to the parents of Ocbamicheal Yosief and Frewoni Tesfamariam.
On May 14, 1990 the family immigrated to the city of Durham, North Carolina, United States. In 1992 they moved to San Diego to be close to relatives and friends.

Tensa went to Mount Miguel High School in Lemon Grove and was an honorary student. Tensa continued his education at Grossmont College.

Tensa was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Everyone that knew Tensa knew that he loved people greatly. Tensa loved his family very much and he showed that in his great desire to help any time in need. He had many friends that cherished his charisma as he used his gifts to reflect the wisdom he had as he would pour it out to whoever needed to hear.

Tensa was a devoted brother and son. He enjoyed playing soccer, football and being involved in the community. He was a spiritual person and put a smile on everyone face with his great sense of humor.

He is survived by his siblings Bemnet, Filmon, Hermon, Daniel, Eden, Abel, Terhas, Rutta and Tekle. A place that his love was greatly reflected was the role of uncle that he was to Nyeelah.

Being the intelligent and humble brother, uncle, son, and friend he was, he lived a life influencing others. It’s so sad that he’s gone, but we are choosing to rest in God’s peace to come upon Tensa and all who knew him.

May his soul rest in peace!
