On August 23, 2026, Nu-Way Christian Ministries, Inc., under the leadership of Pastor Steve O. Cooper, Sr., became the setting for the official launch of THE KINGDOM OF BE ETERNAL (K.O.B.E.), an inspirational faith-based book and stage play created by Peggy Sue Cooper, affectionately known as “Momma P,” The Be Prophetess.
Created to inspire audiences to discover their God-given purpose, understand divine timing, and prepare for Eternal Life, K.O.B.E. carries a message that reaches beyond the stage.
The date held special significance as August 23 marked the 48th Heavenly Birthday of Kobe B. Bryant. The production honored Kobe’s life, legacy, excellence, and the inspiration he continues to represent to generations around the world.
A Vision That Began in 2017
The story of K.O.B.E. began in 2017, when Peggy Sue Cooper started writing The Kingdom of BE Eternal. What began as a faith-based message about purpose, transformation, spiritual growth, repentance, and Eternal Life developed into both a book and theatrical production.
According to Cooper, the book was always intended to be dedicated to Kobe Bryant.
At the heart of K.O.B.E. is one powerful question: “What will you BE before your time runs out?”
Through words such as BE, Beginning, Belief, Because, Befit, Better, Best, and Bethink, the production explores the spiritual journey of becoming who God has called each person to BE.
The symbolic BE Time Yellow Brick Road represents the journey toward purpose and destiny.
Prepare for Your BE TIME
Two central messages echo throughout K.O.B.E.:
“We must dominate our BE before time runs out on Earth.”
“Prepare for your BE TIME.”
Through scripture, spoken word, Gospel-centered music, worship dance, theatrical storytelling, and symbolic characters, K.O.B.E. challenges audiences to stop postponing their purpose.
You have a purpose.
You have a BE.
You have a BE TIME.
Bringing the Kingdom to the Stage
The production featured Beginning, Belief, Better, Best, Bethink, Because, Befit, and BeTimer, portrayed by members of the K.O.B.E. cast, with Peggy Sue Cooper serving as BeTimer.
The production also featured the Beanites, Be-lipians, and Be-Keeper Dancers, while Kevin Cooper served as Narrator, guiding the audience through the spiritual journey.
Approximately 125 guests gathered for the celebration, including special guests James Cannon, father of Nick Cannon, and Chris Cooper of Marvel Entertainment, along with community leaders, families, volunteers, and supporters.
The Heavenly Kingdom Revelation
The journey culminated in a powerful Heavenly Kingdom Revelation, featuring symbolic appearances by Kobe Bryant, portrayed by Jasiah Simen, and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant, portrayed by Sarah McMillan.
Their appearance brought the production’s themes of legacy, excellence, love, purpose, and eternity to an emotional conclusion.
K.O.B.E. does more than celebrate a basketball legend. It asks every audience member to look within:
What is your purpose?
What is your legacy?
What has God placed inside of you?
And most importantly—what will you BE?
The Legacy Continues
What began with one woman writing a book in 2017 became a theatrical vision involving actors, dancers, families, volunteers, community supporters, and an audience united by faith and purpose.
The August 23, 2026 launch is not an ending—it is a beginning.
The journey continues along the BE Time Yellow Brick Road—from beginning to belief, from belief to becoming, and ultimately toward the Kingdom of BE Eternal.
Kobe Bryant’s legacy reminds us to pursue excellence.
K.O.B.E. challenges us to take that pursuit one step further:
