A number of people gathered at the Southeastern Live Well Center last Saturday to celebrate the work of the late Mike Norris, our beloved neighborhood photographer whom many called the “Gordon Parks” of San Diego. A small, loyal group has established the Mike Norris Legacy Foundation to encourage young people with scholarships and community support. There was a video presentation of Mike with pictures of him, some of his works on display, as well as a discussion of his life’s work and contributions to the San Diego community.
