Family and friends of Kimisha Sharpe got together last Saturday at 9467 Jamacha Blvd in Spring Valley to celebrate the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of her newest venture The Weave Lounge.
The Weave Lounge serves as a salon where clients can get their hair weaved or braided by professional stylists and was founded by hair specialist Kimisha Sharpe of San Diego CA.
“I started the business so that I could extend a professional, relaxed environment at a reasonable price. I also wanted a storefront to sell my Kimiremy virgin hair extensions,” said Sharpe. After cutting the ribbon-cutting Kimisha opened the doors to a pleasant decor with interior designs displaying eye-catching black and turquoise colors.
Customers and family of San Diego’s newest positive hair experience were treated to more than enough snacks, fancy desserts, champagne and lots of love.
“I’m so blessed to start this venture with people whom I adore greatly. I would like to thank all my family for all their amazing support, my mother and father, my beautiful children as well as all the stylists. Most importantly, I would like to thank God!” Kimisha said.
After Pastor Willie Globe blessed the building and everyone present, The Weave lounge is now open for business.
