As Primary Election Day approaches next Tuesday, June 2nd, people were invited to attend a special Town Hall meeting last week concerning the election at the office of the San Diego Voice & Viewpoint Newspaper.
The serious gathering was an opportunity to explain, in-depth, the importance of voting by the evening’s host, Dr John Warren.
The microphone was passed around the room to the attendees, as they were able to ask any questions, past, present, or future, related to the election process, including candidate accountability. The election experience: candidates, money, integrity, ballot measures, gerrymandering, leadership, and more were explained in accurate detail as fact was skillfully separated from fiction. And how it’s still a “big-bank-takes-little-bank” reality.
“I definitely think this is a worthwhile event and very informative. People need to realize how important it is to vote and know who you are voting for,” Never Leave One Behind President, Larry Price, shared.
