We Are Not Machines, We Are the Movement

We’re kicking off this series by honoring our exhaustion, confronting the systems that demand our overextension, and grounding ourselves in the truth: rest is resistance, and Black women are the movement. 

The State of Us: Where Black Women Stand Politically in CA 
We’ll explore how Black women are showing up politically in this moment, what barriers we face, and what’s needed to move from civic fatigue to civic power as we look ahead to 2026.
