The City of Hope Church International @ Faith Chapel led by Senior Pastor Terrell Fletcher, held its inaugural “A Healthier Me @ The City” campaign on May 18th, 2014. There were more than 70 participants at the first session getting their blood pressures checked, weight and height measured, and gaining healthy eating and exercise tips to track their progress as went from session one to session six. What sets this program apart from others is that it is interactive, with apps for your smart phones that will track what and how you eat and how you exercise. This six month health initiative campaign is here to improve the community’s quality of life through education and application by focusing on weight and blood pressure management, healthier food choices and increased activity.
