In Support of Black Media

Francine Maxwell, President, NAACP San Diego Branch

In the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, black media is on the frontline providing reliable information to the communities they service. We are especially proud of the San Diego Voice and Viewpoint, that at the direction of their Publisher, Dr. John Warren made their online newspapers free and began to keep their constituents educated and informed daily. Dr. Warren went even a step further and began to provide hardship copies of the San Diego Voice and Viewpoint weekly to thousands of food distribution bags given to in-need families in our community at no cost.

The San Diego Voice and Viewpoint is a shining example of leadership and should be celebrated for their love and respect of the communities they service.

I encourage the continued support of black media and the San Diego Voice and Viewpoint for, “A people without a voice can not be heard”.

Thank you,

Francine Maxwell, President
NAACP San Diego Branch
