Lynette was the loving daughter of Linda Evans, cherished sister to Noble Robinson and Oscar E. James III, and adored mother to Nikita, LaToya, Rebecca, Heaven, and Vionca. Her uncles, Freddie David, Joshua Davis, and John Franklin, and her aunts, Marilynn David, Joan Walther, and Barbara Kaprielian also held a special place in her heart.

Lynette was a proud alumna of Herbert Hoover High School, where she demonstrated a keen interest in learning and a passion for life that was infectious. Her love for knowledge was only eclipsed by her love for people. She was a friend to all, and her radiant smile was a beacon of joy and warmth to those around her.
