The County of San Diego Administration Center illuminated on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 in an amber color to “support the national Memorial to Lives Lost to COVID-19 at the request of then President-elect Joseph R. Biden, Jr. and then Vice President-elect Kamala D. Harris as part of their Inauguration. The purpose was to look back and remember the more than 400,000 U.S. lives lost to COVID-19 as we look forward to the hope of a new path and a brighter future”, a County press release reported.
