The hearts and minds of our entire community go out to the families of the recent shooting in Poway at a House Of Worship. It appears that those playing to the hate among us are such cowards that they still go for the most venerable among us. We must not only pray and be watchful but also make conversations of hate and division unacceptable in our presence. We must also realize that but for the grace of God, any of us can be the next victim. The people engaging in these acts of violence are not from another planet. They live with and among us. We must pay closer attention to each other. We must cease to operate as a community of strangers…
