San Diego, CA: Zy’ale Clark, Author and Poet is originally from Woodbridge, VA. She is the Author of both “Reflections: A Poetic Voice Of This Time” and a novel “I Used to Love”. Zy’ale recently visited San Diego for a book signing at Bourre’s Southern Bistro located at 6523 University Ave., San Diego, CA 92115. The event was hosted by Grandmother Nikki Van Dyke and Aunt Rickeena Boyd of San Diego. Nikki Van Dyke shares that Zy’ale is the eldest of Herbert and my grandchildren. She has always been a leader full of ambition and a hard worker. From the time she told her grandfather that she was not call him grand-daddy but G-pop to making the decision to self-publish she has always followed her own path and believed in her vision. I am so proud of Zy’ale and the example she has set for her younger siblings, cousins and nephew. Zy is a shinning star!”
