Larry Jenkins
Larry Jenkins Jr., a thirty-seven year native of Gainsville, Florida, separated from this life on January 24, 2016 in San Diego, California. He graduated from Buchholz, High School, “Class of 1997”. He enlisted in the United States Marines, where he served from 1997 to 2001, The United States Navy from 2001 to 2011, The Reserve from 2011 to Present. Larry received numerous Awards and Medals throughout his Military Career. He is survived by his wife, Nadine Jenkins; children, Shaheem Jenkins, Tianna Jenkins, Ariannna Jenkins and Joshua Mayberry; mother, Valarie Jenkins; father, Larry Jenkins (Lenora); siblings, Lamar Jenkins, Marsha Jenkins, Jamie Jenkins, Katrina M. Lee, Aleysha Jenkins and Artaisha Brooks (Aaron); mother in law, Debra Williams. Services were held on Saturday, February 06, 2016, Mount Moriah Baptist Church in Gainesville, Florida; interment & Military Honors at Rutledge Cemetery, Gainesville, Florida. Arrangements were entrusted to Anderson-Ragsdale Mortuary, San Diego, CA and Carnegie Funeral Home in Chiefland, FL.
